Overview

Come join us for an adventure where you are personally guided around the highlands by a born and bred highland lass and fully qualified experienced tour guide

Join us as we venture South taking in Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Cawdor Castle (Urquhart Castle if closed) Loch Ness, Wardlaw Mausoleum, Highland Cows and perhaps even Jamie Fraser if you are lucky.

Avoid the hustle and bustle of a larger coach group and tour round the highlands in our 16 seat minibus.

We try to get the most out of your day out so departure times will start 9am.

While some of the tours are not wheelchair friendly, we try our best to accommodate.

WHEELCHAIR USERS & STROLLERS
We DO REQUIRE NOTICE, as we are restricted on luggage space we need to know in advance if you are taking walking aids/pushchairs with you on any of our tours.

Itinerary

  1. Stop 1 · 30m

  2. Stop 2 · 1h 15m

The highland life forever changed on this very field back in 16th April 1746 where the last pitched battle was fought between the Hanoverian soldiers and fated Jacobites. We guide you on this special tour of the fated site.

  3. Stop 3 · 1h 30m

First built in the Middle Ages this area goes back to the 6th century.
Urquhart castle was built in the 13th century and played a key role in the Wars of Scottish Independence, now a ruin it stands on a prime location on Loch Ness to get a glimpse of Nessie.

  4. Stop 4 · 30m

Stop on the banks of Loch Ness and visit Nessies home lands. Might even see a famous Nessie Hunter.

  5. Stop 5 · 30m

Completed in 1634 as the burial place for the Clan Fraser of Lovat chiefs, who had stopped using Beauly Abbey as their burial ground. Here we will pay a visit to Simon 'the fox' Fraser.... or will we???

  6. Stop 6 · 30m

Beauly Priory is its most famous historical site — a ruined 13th-century Valliscaulian monastery. Visit where Claire meet the Frasers 'Seer'. Beauly is home to the original Simon 'the fox' Fraser

  7. Stop 7 · 20m

How about a visit to the Hielan Coo's. Here we visit Heather, Katie-Morag and Jamie. A visit to the farm shop for all things Coo related is a must.
