Formed 150 million years ago from shifting sand dunes, these unique rocks appear to be on fire under the sun, creating a breathtaking landscape that gives the park its name.

Red Rock Canyon's distinctive red hues and formations are the result of ancient sand dunes lithifying into sandstone, cemented with iron oxide and calcium carbonate, and later uplifted and faulted by tectonic activity, exposing iron-rich layers.
Meeting point
You will be picked up from most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas starting at 6am. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the tour. Please reconfirm your exact pick up time 24 hours prior to tour date.
