Overview
The Ecological Trekking 4 Days, visits one of the wildest sides of Lençóis Maranhenses. The south side of the park, with the start of the walk at the entrance to the park in the city of Barreirinhas, we cross sandbank and dune field on the first day, which shows us a lot about how the Lençóis Maranhenses are really formed.

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Lagoa da Esperança
After the meeting at the participant's Inn, a 4x4 vehicle will take us to the Lagoa da Esperança region, where we will begin our walk across the dunes visiting the lagoons, finishing the morning in the village of Mocambo, at the home of the local natives where we will spend our first night.

Day 2: Povoado Mocambo - Barraca do Ediel 06km Trekking · 4h
After breakfast, we depart toward the Ediel tent. visiting lagoons and beautiful desert landscapes, we will also visit communities along the way, carrying out cultural exchange between visitor and desert resident.

Day 3: Mocambo Hamlet - Ediel's Tent - Rancharia Hamlet - 08km Trekking · 4h
After breakfast, always before sunrise, we set off towards the city of Santo Amaro on a 15km trek, visiting lakes and beautiful landscapes, also visiting relevant places regarding the history of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

Day 4: Rancharia Village - Betânia Village - Santo do Maranhão - Barreirinhas · 8h
On this day, on our last and fourth day, we will walk between Povoado Rancharia and Povoado Betânia, where we will take kayaks and continue to the city of Santo Amaro following the descent of the Alegre river, after our arrival and departure from the Park we return to Barreirinhas by car for another hour of travel ending our tour.

We are located in the center of the city, exactly in the first alameda that gives access to avenida beira rio. Next to the Gercilar shops.
