Join us in the exciting world of white-water rafting, where adrenaline meets Norways stunning nature. Experience the thrill of powerful rapids guided by our world class guides.
Voss Active is ´the rafting expert` in Voss and the only company that can raft the best sections of both the Stranda River and the Raundal River. This allows us to choose the river that will provide the best experience depending on the water levels each day. Both rivers are world renowned, and we guarantee an amazing experience.
Stranda River: Grade 3-4+, approx. 8 km. A classic! This is the most well-known river with spectacular rapids such as Laila, Svanhild, and Kåre. The trip starts with a training section and swimming test, before the main rapids, eventually finishing with calmer waters towards the end.
Raundal River: Grade 3-4+, approx. 7 km, Renowned for its crystal-clear water and beautiful bedrock features, running through a beautiful and gorge, away from civilization. With the right water level, we are the only company that can raft the “Timberhole” the largest raftable rapid Europe! Towards the end you can take a 4-meter cliff jump and swim before we reach the finish point.

Our rafting base is found 5km or 7 minutes' drive from Voss town center. We have free car park with several charging points.
