1. Tag 1: Great Wall at Mutianyu - Forbidden City - Tian'anmen Square (Small group/private)

   Covering 10 top must-see attractions in Beijing within 2 days, this all-inclusive tour captures the essence of the city’s imperial heritage and local street culture. We provide two professional tour packages for you to choose from. Our budget-friendly Economy Small Group Tour adopts a shared group arrangement on Day 1 and uses convenient metro transportation with a personal guide on Day 2. Our premium Fully Private Tour offers exclusive car and guide service throughout the entire trip for a comfortable, tailor-made travel experience.

2. Tag 1: Great Wall at Mutianyu - Forbidden City - Tian'anmen Square (Small group/private) · 2 Std.

   Start your Beijing adventure with the legendary Mutianyu Great Wall. Your guide will share historical facts and stories about the Great Wall during the transfer. Once you arrive, your guide will walk with you onto the wall and explain its fascinating history, construction and ancient defense stories. After the guided segment, you will have free time to wander, take photos and explore the wall at your own pace.
   
   Optional extras at Mutianyu: cable car and toboggan (ski lift slide) are available for purchase at your own expense. These are not included in the tour price.

3. Tag 1: Great Wall at Mutianyu - Forbidden City - Tian'anmen Square (Small group/private) · 2 Std.

   Later, we return to downtown Beijing. Meet your guide at the Meridian Gate for a **2-hour guided Forbidden City tour starting at 2:00 PM**. The Forbidden City was the imperial palace for China’s Ming and Qing emperors. On this guided walk, you will see grand ceremonial halls, peaceful imperial courtyards, ornate wooden architecture and precious relics. Your guide will tell tales of emperors, empresses and palace life.
   
   Please note that the guided tour concludes inside the Forbidden City, with **no hotel drop-off service provided**. You are welcome to stay behind after the guided session to explore additional exhibitions and palace areas independently.
   
   For private tour bookings, enjoy an exclusive English-speaking guide, private driver and full hotel pickup & drop-off for the whole day’s itinerary.

4. Tag 1: Great Wall at Mutianyu - Forbidden City - Tian'anmen Square (Small group/private) · 1 Std.

   If you wish to visit Tiananmen Square, we can make the reservation for you in advance. You may visit the square on your own after the small-group Forbidden City tour.
   Private tours are flexible. We can set aside time on either of the two days for you to visit Tiananmen Square, and we will complete the reservation beforehand.

5. Tag 2: Temple of Heaven - Summer Palace - Hutong - Shichahai Lake · 2 Std.

   First, visit the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where ancient emperors held ceremonies to pray for good harvests. Your guide will explain the symbolic design of the temple buildings and the ancient rituals performed here.

6. Tag 2: Temple of Heaven - Summer Palace - Hutong - Shichahai Lake · 1 Std.

   Next, head to the Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved royal garden. Accompanied by your guide, explore this vast imperial retreat. You will discover the iconic Long Corridor decorated with thousands of traditional paintings, the expansive Kunming Lake, elegant stone bridges and hillside pavilions. Your guide will share stories about how the imperial family spent their summers here and the garden’s remarkable history.
   
   For economy small group guests, your personal guide travels with you by metro between sites.

7. Tag 2: Temple of Heaven - Summer Palace - Hutong - Shichahai Lake

   On the way back to city, stop for a photo op at Beijing National Stadium, the famous “Bird’s Nest” from the 2008 Summer Olympics.

8. Tag 2: Temple of Heaven - Summer Palace - Hutong - Shichahai Lake · 30 Min.

   In the afternoon, explore old Beijing. Wander through the Shichahai scenic area and walk along the shore of Houhai Lake. Your guide will introduce the hutong history and local daily life.

9. Tag 2: Temple of Heaven - Summer Palace - Hutong - Shichahai Lake · 15 Min.

   You will view the exteriors of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, ancient central-axis landmarks that once kept time for the whole capital. Learn how these towers functioned in old Beijing, while admiring their classic architecture from outside. You will also stroll through the nearby traditional hutongs to experience authentic Beijing neighbourhood culture.
   
   Private tour travelers follow the same full itinerary, with a dedicated guide and private vehicle all day, including hotel pickup and drop-off for a seamless trip.
