Im Jahr 2025 jährt sich die Ardennenoffensive zum 80. Mal, einer der entscheidendsten Momente des Zweiten Weltkriegs, in dem über 140.000 Menschen ihr Leben verloren oder für immer verändert haben.
Unsere Reise beginnt auf dem amerikanischen Friedhof von Neuville-en-Condroz, wo Reihen weißer Kreuze Tausenden von US-Soldaten Tribut zollen, die das höchste Opfer gebracht haben. Anschließend fahren wir nach Bastogne, einer wichtigen Festung während der Schlacht, wo Sie den McAuliffe Square besuchen und einen imposanten M3 Sherman-Panzer sehen – ein Symbol der Widerstandsfähigkeit der Alliierten.
