At 9:00 am your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in central Guilin or Yangshuo and start heading toward the foot of the mountains where Longji Rice Terraces is located (approx. 2.5 hours).

Begin your visit at Huangluo Yao Village, home to the Yao people. Here, you’ll have a chance to see the local tradition of women growing their hair long, with some reaching 1 meter or more. Enjoy lunch here, with your guide recommending local dishes and restaurants based on your preferences.
After lunch, continue to Ping’an Rice Terraces. Built along the mountains, the terraces wind from the foothills toward the peaks like ribbons. Local villagers have cultivated these fields for more than 600 years. Follow the mountain paths and enjoy panoramic views from famous viewpoints such as Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon and Nine Dragons and Five Tigers. -
