2. Stopp 2 · 3 Std.

   Hurghada, 3 hours (the drive)

   Cross the Nile from the East Bank, home of Karnak, to the West Bank, where the pharaohs built their tombs and funerary temples. Enjoy views over the river and the fields beyond it.

   Luxor, 1 hour (lunch)
   Enjoy a buffet lunch at a Nile-view restaurant in Luxor. Vegetarian options are available on request. Drinks are not included.

6. Stopp 6 · 2 Std.

   Visit the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Egypt's pharaohs, with your private Egyptologist guide. Enter 3 royal tombs with your entrance ticket and see painted walls, hieroglyphs and burial chambers, while your guide explains their meaning. Tutankhamun's tomb and other special tombs need an extra ticket, paid on site.

7. Stopp 7 · 2 Std.

   Visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built into the golden cliffs of the West Bank.    Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two giant 18-metre stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have watched over the West Bank plain for about 3,400 years. A short photo stop with your private Egyptologist guide.

9. Stopp 9 · 20 Min.

   Visit a local alabaster workshop to watch craftsmen shape stone by hand using traditional methods. This is a shopping stop. There is no obligation to buy, and you are welcome to skip it if you are tired.

10. Stopp 10 · 3 Std.

    Luxor, 3 hours (return drive)
    Begin the return journey across the Eastern Desert in your private air-conditioned vehicle, with a short rest stop on the way. Expected arrival at your hotel in Hurghada is between 07:00 and 08:30 PM, depending on traffic and checkpoints.
