Überblick
Wir möchten Gran Vía noch etwas aus städtebaulicher, historischer und architektonischer Sicht kennenlernen, da es vor mehr als 100 Jahren bis zu seiner letzten Reform konzipiert wurde. Wir beginnen auf dem Dach des Circle of Fine Arts, der Arbeit von Antonio Palacios. Von dort aus werden wir die Stadtentwicklung von Madrid, die Gran Vía und die Umgebung kennenlernen und die Geschichte der anderen Gebäude von Palacios als Sitz des Stadtrats oder des Cervantes-Instituts betrachten. Nachdem wir die beeindruckende Treppe des Circle hinuntergegangen sind und das Gebäude im Innern kennengelernt habe
