Reiseverlauf

1. Tag 1: ARRIVAL IN MAUN

   We welcome you at Maun Airport and take you to your accomodation where you unwind and prepare for your safari strating the next day.

2. Tag 2: IN THE CHANNELS OF THE OKAVANGO DELTA · 7 Std.

   In the early morning at 07:30 hrs we pick you at your accommodation in Maun. A unique experience in the Okavango Delta is waiting for you. 1h-1.5h outside of Maun in a small local village in the Okavango Delta in NG32
   concession, you meet a guide/poler from the village community trust. They are allocated on a rotation
   basis. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, the guides show you their home, which they are very passionate and
   knowledgeable about. Enjoy the beauty of the delta its nature and wildlife. Gently float downstream and observe the local wildlife. A packed lunch on one of the islands gives you time to relax. After your meal your guide takes you on an nature walk where we hope to see more animals and learn about the delta its plants, animals and the tribes living here. Around 15:30h you are back in town.

3. Tag 3: INTO THE WILD OF MOREMI GAME RESERVE · 15 Std.

   In the morning at we pick you at your accommodation in Maun. You meet your highly-trained and experienced guide, who shows you our beautiful wildlife and nature in the next 5 days. In a 4x4 open-sided safari vehicle you drive to Moremi Game Reserve (3hrs on a dusty sandroad in the open gameviewing car), where you will spend the day on gamedrives in the floodplains - seasonally or perennially wet, waterways, lagoons, pools, pans, grasslands and riparian, riverine and mophane forests. This terrain makes driving Moremi’s many loops and trails both delightful and, at times, totally inspiring. Inside the bush you enjoy a packed lunch. Before the sun sets you arrive in your camp where you enjoy a bush shower. After a delicious dinner you can sit around the campfire sharing your experiences of the day.
   This is offgrid wildcamping with no fences, no wifi, no electricity, no running water. We bring in everything, pitch the tents and cook for you.

4. Tag 4: GAMEDRIVES IN MOREMI · 1 Tag

   An early morning wake up with a light breakfast allows you to go on an early gamedrive as this is the time when the predators are on the hunt.
   After the game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again. Evening progamm once again is dinner and story telling around the campfire and the unforgettable experience of being during night deep inside the bush.

5. Tag 5: FROM BUSH TO SAVANNAH · 8 Std.

   Today you are moving the camp from Moremi to Savute National Park. In the moring our team breaks down the camp while you have a light breakfast and then start your crosspark Game Drive. Its a fully day transfer in teh open gameviewing vehicle on dusty sandtracks.
   Around lunch time you stop for a packed meal before continuing the Game Drive. You stop for animals on the way and enjoy the change of scenery from green bush to savanna.
   In Savute our team puts up the camp and while we prepare a delicious dinner for you, you can have a shower and wash off the dust of the sandy roads.
   Sit around the campfire and listen to the bush while the sun sets.

6. Tag 5: FROM BUSH TO SAVANNAH

7. Tag 5: FROM BUSH TO SAVANNAH · 6 Std.

   Today you are moving the camp from Moremi to Savute National Park. In the moring our team breaks down the camp while you have a light breakfast and then start your crosspark Game Drive.
   Around lunch time you stop for a picknick meal before continuing the Game Drive. You stop for animals on the way and enjoy the change of scenery from green bush to savanna.
   In Savute our team puts up the camp and while we prepare a delicious dinner for you, you can have a shower and wash off the dust of the sandy roads.
   Sit around the campfire and listen to the bush while the sun sets.

8. Tag 6: UPCLOSE WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS IN SAVUTE · 1 Tag

   An early morning wake up with a light breakfast allows you to go on an early gamedrive as this is the time when the predators are on the hunt. After the game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again. 9. Tag 7: SAVANNAH TO CHOBE RIVERFRONT · 7 Std.

   And again you are woken up in the early morning with a warm "Dumela" for coffee, tea and breakfast. Today we are moving to Chobe Riverfront, where you arrive around lunch time.

10. Tag 7: SAVANNAH TO CHOBE RIVERFRONT · 3 Std.

    You arrive around lunchtime in Kasane. After check in at your accommodation, you have a short time to refresh and then we take you on a 3h boating safari in the Chobe River.

11. Tag 8: CHOBE GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO ZIMBABWE · 3 Std.

12. Tag 8: CHOBE GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO ZIMBABWE · 7 Std.

    We transfer you across the border to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The transfer takes about 1.5-2h if there is no delay at the border.
    The afternoon is at free for your own leisure.

13. Tag 9: VICTORIA FALLS · 1 Tag

    Today you can explore the Victoria Falls rainforest on foot on your own.
    There are no tours included today.
    Optional activities can be prebooked with us in advance e.g. Zambezi Sunset Cruise, helicopter flight or adrenaline activities such as bungee, white water rafting, devils pool visit or a cultural experience such as a traditional village tour. We also offer guided walking tours of the falls, if you prefer not to explore on your own.

14. Tag 10: DEPARTURE

    We transfer you in the morning to the airport in Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe (VFA)
