Auf dieser halbtägigen 4x4-Tour geht es darum, einige der wildesten Landschaften Zyperns zu entdecken. Sie werden die wildreiche Avakas-Schlucht und den Lara Beach sehen und alles über die Bemühungen des Zypern-Schildkrötenschutzprojekts erfahren. Dann fahren Sie nach Lara Bay, um ein Bad zu nehmen, sich bei einem Kaffee zu entspannen und vor allem ein paar Instaworthy-Fotos zu machen.

Stopp 1 · 2 Std.
After hotel pick up, starting at 08.30h, we will drive to the meeting point of Avakas Gorge. Here you will receive a short briefing and then an escorted mini hiking into the Avakas Gorge followed by a coffee break.

Stopp 2 · 1 Std.
After the coffee break we will drive to Lara Bay. Lara Bay is one of the few remaining havens for loggerhead and green turtles to nest. Aluminium cages are placed over the nests in order to protect small turtles from foxes and enable them to escape to the sea as soon as they emerge from the sand. Turtles nest from the middle of May to the end of August. We will visit the Turtle Conversation Project and will have half an hour for a swim before we drive back to the hotels.
