Überblick
Petrópolis ist eine Stadt im Bundesstaat Rio de Janeiro, die auch als Kaiserstadt bekannt ist. Es war der erste geplante Stadtbau Brasiliens und der modernen Welt im 19. Jahrhundert. Der Imperator Dom Pedro II. Machte 1843 die Region zu seinem Sommeraufenthalt. Zehn Jahre später, 1853, wurde in Petrópolis die erste brasilianische Brauerei gegründet, die 1898 in Böhmen umbenannt wurde.
