Überblick
Abu Dabbab ist einer der bekanntesten Tauchplätze im Roten Meer und in ganz Ägypten. Es ist einer der wenigen Orte auf der Welt, an denen Sie mit dem sehr seltenen und vom Aussterben bedrohten Dugong, der Seekuh, tauchen können. Tatsächlich gibt es zwei in der Abu Dabbab Bucht lebende Dugongs namens Dennis und Douglas. Dieser Tauchplatz bietet auch freundliche grüne Meeresschildkröten, mit denen Sie aus nächster Nähe schwimmen können. Im seichten Wasser ist der bizarr wirkende, aber völlig harmlose Gitarrenhai nicht selten zu sehen.
