The True South Lunch Tour meets at the Riverfront in Rousakis Riverfront Plaza (close to Huey's restaurant). Look for your smiling guide in a GA peach-colored shirt and Flavors Food Tours logo.
This tour focuses on CUISINE: enjoying foods native to the South and Savannah, learning the history behind its origins and understanding the culture and history of this region.
We'll be walking about 2 miles through the historic northern section of Savannah. Foods we'll be trying include coffee, beignets, Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp N Grits and/or other main dishes of the South, She Crab Soup, Pecan Pie and more! This tour includes a cocktail (or mocktail for non drinkers) so ease on into vacation mode an slow it down a bit...you're in the South now!
