Itinerario

  1. Día 1: Antananarivo - Andasibe · 1 h 30 min

Visit Madagascar Exotic, a privately run reserve near Marozevo on National Road N2, 75 km east of Antananarivo. Owned
by French naturalist André Peyriéras, it features a diverse collection of reptiles, amphibians, crocodiles, and butterflies.
Explore large caged buildings and greenhouses with a guide, where you can witness daily feedings of Coquerel's sifaka
and photograph them up close. A popular stop between Antananarivo and Andasibe-Mantadia National Park.

  2. Día 1: Antananarivo - Andasibe · 1 h 30 min

After dark, your guide will collect you from your lodge and be transferred to the start point of the location where you go for
your night walk in the small rainforest parcel of VOIMMA, which is protected by a local guides association.

  3. Día 2: Andasibe · 4 h

Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, located in eastern Madagascar, is one of the country’s most popular and accessible protected areas, renowned for its rich biodiversity and exceptional wildlife, particularly its lemur species. The park lies about 140 km (87 miles) east of Antananarivo, Madagascar's capital, and spans roughly 155 square kilometers (60 square miles), though the surrounding protected forests contribute to a larger conservation area. It is situated within the tropical rainforest zone, benefiting from a humid climate that supports a diverse range of flora and fauna.

  4. Día 2: Andasibe · 1 h 30 min

Prepare yourself for an extraordinary encounter with lemurs and a thrilling wildlife spectacle at Vakona hotel. Located just a
short walk from Vakona restaurant, you will embark on an adventure to the private Lemurs Island. This enchanting
sanctuary offers a close and personal experience with lemurs, allowing you to observe their behaviour and interact with
these captivating creatures. As you explore the lush surroundings of the island, lemurs will curiously approach, providing
you with an unforgettable opportunity to connect with these endemic species

  5. Día 3: Andasibe - Antananarivo

This tour will explore the capital of Madagascar, focusing primarily on the history of the highlands before French colonization.

The first stop is the Manjakamiadana Rova, also known as the Queen's Palace. This historic site was the royal residence before colonization and is situated at the highest point in Antananarivo. From here, visitors can enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The Rova is not only significant for its architecture but also for its cultural importance, as it symbolizes the rich history of the Merina Kingdom.

The second stop is Analakely, the bustling center of Antananarivo. Here, you will find the main train station, which serves as a vital transportation hub for locals. Analakely is also known for its vibrant markets, where visitors can experience the lively atmosphere and sample local goods and cuisine. This area is a great place to observe everyday life in the capital and interact with the friendly Malagasy people.
