   This is arguably the quaintest township in Auckland and dating back to 1850, the oldest on the North Shore that people liken to Sausilito in San Francisco. Marvel at the 5,000 old villas as we explain how to tell their age

3. Parada 3 · 30 min

   Steeped in history and we explain this as formerly this was an underground township (during the 2nd World War and the 1880s) with a labyrinth of tunnels. Affords spectacular 360 degree views of Auckland City and the Hauraki Gulf

   Is there any more beautiful place in Auckland than visiting the 2 stunning Wintergardens (these magnificent glasshouses) over 100 years old and our Fernery, home to our 80 endemic ferns including the most famous, our Silver Fern
