   Even though natural disasters and the time made Mycenae deserted and fall into oblivion, the Archaeological Museum of Mycenae presents exquisite art pieces and important findings found at the archaeological site that bear evidence of the glory and importance of Mycenae. The Mycenaean frescoes, the female figurines, the funerary offerings, and the beautiful vases will reveal to you the splendor of Mycenae and of the way of life of the citadel’s inhabitants.

2. Parada 2 · 10 min

   You’ll visit the massive beehive tomb, once believed to be the burial site of King Agamemnon, to admire its jaw-dropping tholos and learn about how and why the tragic history of the House of Atreus began!

3. Parada 3 · 40 min

   The entrance to the palace of Mycenae is decorated with two impressive lions. The lions dated to 1250 B.C. are the beloved animals of Mycenaeans. Who was buried in the so-called Interior Grave A. Circle A.? What the findings can reveal? And to whom belonged the famous “Mask of Agamemnon”, considered as the Mona Lisa of Prehistory?
