Since its construction in 1969, the Gatlinburg Space Needle has been an extremely popular place for tourists to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery surrounding the town. The Gatlinburg space needle has also been the location of a few of the more tragic and deadly incidents in the towns’ history. Here you'll hear the creepy tales of recorded hauntings.

Sightings of ghosts and phenomena include standard apparitions on the banks, or standing in the water, screams from the river, voices, and a battered canoe that floats slowly downriver. The souls of the dead, killed on the rocky riverbed reportedly remain behind to taunt its visitors.
