   Step back in time and discover the extraordinary ruins of Pompeii, starting from the main entrance of Porta Marina. With Mt Vesuvius rising in the background, you will learn about the dramatic final moments of the city, the eruption of 79 AD, and the fascinating history of its excavations.
   
   Walking through the ancient streets, you'll explore the Roman Forum, the Basilica, the market area, and the main temples. Along the Decumanus Maximus, you'll visit one of the most impressive Roman Baths, recently reopened, and discover intriguing details of daily life.
   
   The tour continues with the the most beautiful domus recently opened, as well as Roman shops such as thermopolia and bakeries. You will also see the Large and Small Theatres, the Gladiators’ Barracks, and many other highlights of Pompeii.
