Take the time to enjoy a tasting of 5 sparkling foundation wines in the dedicated tasting room. Hear more about the Chandon brand and their journey to Australia. You will have time to visit the gift shop and the terrace and take a look at the Homestead before heading to a wine tasting followed by lunch at Soumah or Tokar Estate. -

Please note should De Bortoli be unavailable due to private events such as weddings, we offer an equally enjoyable alternative at St Huberts Estate, featuring a cheese board paired with their estate wines in a beautiful vineyard setting. -

On the way through, we drive into Heritage Golf and Country Club — two Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole courses, a residential estate, and home to the Yarra Valley Lodge Hotel. But the real reason we slow down here is the locals: a large mob of wild kangaroos that lives right on the course. We take our time, cameras ready, for what's often the most photographed moment of the day.
