This iconic 1903 stone monument symbolising conservation, where you can walk beneath its historic inscription.
This Historic Inscription reads "For the Benefit & Enjoyment of the People," a quote from the 1872 act that created Yellowstone National Park.
You will stop here either on your way into Yellowstone, or on the way out. -

There are over 100 thermal features in this area alone.

The Grand Prismatic Spring can be viewed unclose or from the overlook hike,. it is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. There are a couple of ways to access a view for this iconic feature. Your Guide will discuss these and determine the best way for you and your group to see and photograph this feature.

The Midway Geyser Basin offers a short stunning boardwalk stroll past the iconic, rainbow-hued Grand Prismatic Spring and the massive Excelsior Geyser Crater, with opportunities to see to see the Turquoise Pool and Opal Pool, creating an unforgettable, colourful, and steamy experience perfect for families.
Listed separately for stops is the separate Fairy Falls Overlook hike for the best aerial views of the Grand Prismatic. -
