2. Arrêt 2 · 30 min

   Stand on the most celebrated viewpoint in Paris — the Trocadéro esplanade, where the Eiffel Tower rises directly across the Seine in the panoramic perspective that has appeared on every postcard, every film and every travel photograph of the city for over a century. Built for the 1937 World Exhibition, the Palais de Chaillot frames the view on either side with its sweeping symmetrical wings, golden statues and cascading fountains leading down to the river. Your guide explains the history of this extraordinary urban perspective — and points out the details of the tower's ironwork that are only visible from this distance.

3. Arrêt 3 · 1 h

   Stand at the foot of the most iconic monument in the world — the iron structure that Gustave Eiffel built in 1889 as a temporary exhibition piece for the Universal Exhibition and that became the eternal symbol of France, recognized by every person on earth. Rising 330 meters above the Champ de Mars, it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for 41 years and remains the most visited paid monument on the planet, welcoming over 7 million visitors every year. Your guide brings the extraordinary story of its construction, its near-demolition in 1909 and its transformation into the defining image of Paris to life — before you explore the Champ de Mars gardens and take the photographs that will stay with you forever.

4. Arrêt 4 · 30 min

   Stand before the most visited art museum in the world — the former royal palace of French kings from Philippe Auguste in 1190 to Louis XIV in 1682, today housing over 35,000 works including the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. The iconic glass pyramid designed by I.M. Pei, inaugurated in 1989, rises from the Cour Napoléon in a breathtaking dialogue between eight centuries of royal architecture and contemporary design. Your guide brings the full story of the Louvre to life — what it was, what it became, and why it remains the greatest museum on earth.

5. Arrêt 5 · 1 h

   Walk the most famous avenue in the world — 1.9 kilometers of perfectly straight boulevard from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe, lined with chestnut trees, luxury boutiques and the most celebrated addresses in French history. Your guide tells the story of an avenue that began as a royal promenade in 1616, became the ceremonial axis of Napoleon's Empire and reached its defining moment on August 26, 1944, when Charles de Gaulle walked its entire length under sniper fire to announce the liberation of France to two million Parisians.

6. Arrêt 6 · 30 min

   Stand at the foot of Napoleon's monument to the Grande Armée — 50 meters of stone at the center of twelve converging avenues, where the names of 128 battles and 660 generals are engraved on the walls and the eternal flame of the Unknown Soldier has burned without interruption since 1923. Your guide brings the full sweep of French history to life here — from the Revolution to the Liberation of Paris in 1944, when General de Gaulle walked through the arch to the sound of gunfire still echoing from the rooftops above.
