The final stop on the tour is the fantastic filming location that is Bampton village. Bampton is famous for being the filming location for Downton village in all 6 series and the feature film of Downton Abbey. Whilst here I will explain all about filming, give you chance to take photos outside some of the iconic buildings and, if they are feeling friendly, introduce you to some of the local people who adore the TV show almost as much as they love the people who now visit the beautiful village that they call home.
