After settling into the lodge, we will take you by short transfer to the picturesque village of Tortuguero, a place full of Caribbean life and culture. Here you can walk its colorful streets, discover souvenir shops with local crafts, enjoy a refreshing drink or taste the gastronomy of the area.
If you want, you can also take a walk along the beach, feel the sea breeze and admire the stunning coastal landscape. Start the day with an unforgettable experience: a guided boat tour through the canals of Tortuguero National Park at dawn. As the sun dyes the sky with golden tones and reflections on the water, you will enjoy one of the most stunning sunrises in the world, surrounded by the lush nature of this tropical gem, home to 0.9% of the world’s biodiversity.
During the tour, our expert guide will take you to discover the incredible fauna of the park, with the possibility of seeing alligators, monkeys, exotic birds and many species in their natural habitat. In addition, you will share stories, secrets and traditions of local communities, giving you an authentic perspective on life in Tortuguero.
