Being one of the first purposely built carnival venues in the region, The St. Maarten Festival Village’s uniqueness is like nothing else in the Caribbean. Similarly, to an old county fair, it is a large open square shaped venue, equipped with various booths, bars and stage for performances. There, locals sell delicacies and all enjoy evening concerts promoting soca and calypso bands.
