Itinerario

1. Giorno 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades · 15 min

   The excursion begins with a pick up from your accommodation or and agreed upon meeting point in Marrakech. We then begin our journey from Marrakech to Boumalne Dades by heading into the High Atlas Mountains.

2. Giorno 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades · 15 min

   We will arrive at the Tizi N'Tichka pass with vast views overlooking the mountains before continuing on to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages.

3. Giorno 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades · 1 h

   Then we continue on to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will have lunch and an optional tour of the kasbah.

4. Giorno 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades · 1 h

   We will continue into the valley and on to Boumalne Dades where you will have your accommodations for the first night.

5. Giorno 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Arfoud – Dunes of Merzouga · 30 min

   After enjoying breakfast in Boumalne Dades, we will depart on our way to Erg Chebbi in the Sahara desert at Merzouga. Our travel will take us through a number of Berber Villages as we make our way to the gorges at Todra.

6. Giorno 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Arfoud – Dunes of Merzouga · 30 min

   Optionally, we can stop in Erfoud, a city known for its fossils.

7. Giorno 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Arfoud – Dunes of Merzouga · 30 min

   We will continue on to Merzouga, where we will find the camels that will take us on an adventure through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.

8. Giorno 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Arfoud – Dunes of Merzouga · 2 h

   When we reach the camp we can climb the sand dunes for to watch the sunset of the sea of sand. Then we will have dinner and Moroccan tea in the authentic Berber camp with traditional drums and music around a fire. We will spend the second night of your excursion in Berber tents at the camp.

9. Giorno 3: Merzouga: Visit with the Nomads · 3 h

   After waking early to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes (optional) and enjoying breakfast, we will venture into the desert to meet and have tea with a local nomadic (Berber) family. Other optional activities include visiting the deserted village and mines of Mfis, experiencing the Gnaoua music of the region in Khemliya, and adding on a quad bike experience in the dunes.

10. Giorno 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech · 30 min

    After waking early to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes (optional) and enjoying breakfast, we will return to Merzouga by camel. From Merzouga we will make our way to the small city of Rissani, known for its spices and shopping.

11. Giorno 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech · 1 h

    From Rissani we continue to Agdz where we can stop for coffee/tea or lunch depending on the timing and your party's discretion.

12. Giorno 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech · 30 min

    From Agdz we head back towards the High Atlas Mountains. If we did not have lunch earlier we will break for lunch here before we begin making our way back to Marrakech.
