Tappa 1
Our trip starts at our tour center in central Oslo. From there, we’ll board the metro, and enjoy a scenic train ride through the stunning winter landscape. As we leave the city behind, the views over the fjord will unfold before you, setting the stage for a day of exploration.
As you reach the Frognerseteren station, you will be greeted by crisp fresh air and breathtaking panoramic views. From here, our hike will wind through the winter forest, and past small frozen ponds said to be inhabited by the mystical creature named Huldra. -
Tappa 2 · 15 min
Our first stop is a charming Norwegian cabin called DNT Fuglemyrhytta - a small cabin that offers a cozy spot to relax, maybe have a snack, and take in the views.
-
Tappa 3 · 15 min
Our adventure continues through the snow laden forest to the most spectacular spot of our journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain. From here, you can feast your eyes on large parts of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and its serene coastline, dotted with numerous small islands. Here we will enjoy a break in the heart of nature, and a moment of nordic "hygge," meaning a peaceful moment shared with good company. Don’t worry, we have plenty of time for photographs!
