Visit a cozy café in Bratislava’s Old Town to enjoy Slovak wines from small, family-owned producer. Savor the distinct flavors of local vintages in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Slovakia, especially the Bratislava region and southern Slovakia, has a rich winemaking history dating back to Roman times. The vineyards are located on the hillsides of the Small Carpathian Mountains surrounding Bratislava. The Small Carpathian Wine Road begins in Bratislava’s Rača district and ends in Slovakia’s ‘Little Rome,’ a city of Trnava located 50 km from the capital. A visit to Bratislava would not be complete without sampling its delicious cuisine and experiencing the unique flavors of its local wines, which remain a ‘hidden gem’ of Slovakia.
During our wine tasting, you’ll have the opportunity to savor and distinguish between four traditional wines from a small local producer in the nearby village of Limbach, just outside Bratislava. The experience is complemented by a selection of small canapés, a traditional snack enjoyed with a glass of wine.
