概要
クルトゥルシュは、トルコ東部から新しく到着したユダヤ人と並んで、ギリシャ系、アルメニア系、セファルディク系のユダヤ人のコミュニティが何世代にもわたって形成され、イスタンブールで最も多様な地域の一つである。 その多文化な歴史は、パン屋、メゼカウンター、乳製品店、グリルハウスに息づいています。
まずは近隣のギリシャ遺産を祝う訪問から、生蜂蜜と熟成トゥルムチーズの濃厚なカイマクなど、エルジンカンの特産品を味わいます。 バックストリートを探索しながら、地元の職人に会い、セファルディクのボアキタ、アルメニアのトピック、葡萄の葉の剥製、その他の古典的なメゼを試食します。

To top it off, there’s a whole street lined with shops and restaurants devoted to the fabled breakfast spread of eastern Turkey’s Erzincan region. Not surprisingly, a visit to Kurtuluş can be an eye-popping and gut-busting experience. But step back from the table and you’ll notice a rich cultural diversity no longer present in most parts of the city, an open-minded attitude, a cosmopolitan air and laid back sophistication, particularly when it comes to food.
