概要
キーウェストの歴史的な港から出航したアップルドア スター号は、キーウェストの奥地に向かう途中で帆を上げて本格的なセーリング体験をします。
一日かけてキーウェスト国立野生生物保護区にあるキーウェストの無人マングローブ島を探索します。保護区を故郷とするイルカ、ウミガメ、マンタなど、多くの野生生物に注意してください。船長はイルカがよく見られる場所を知っており、イルカを見つけたら知らせてくれます。
マングローブ島に到着すると、スクーナー船が停泊し、探検が始まります。一日はガイド付きカヤック ツアーとガイド付きシュノーケリング ツアーに分かれています。暖かく浅い水は穏やかで、無人のマングローブに守られているため、カヤックは楽に楽しめます。
ツアーの後は船に戻り、真水リンスで体を洗い流し、デッキでリラックスしてください。冷えたビール、ワイン、自家製サングリア、冷えたソーダ、ろ過水など、たくさんの無料の冷たい飲み物からお選びください。ゆったりとした島暮らしの醍醐味です。

- To re-board the schooner after snorkeling and kayaking, you are required to climb aboard a platform secured to the boat just below the waterline, from there you climb a ladder back aboard the schooner.
