Grand, colonial-era landmarks include the Governor Palace, Calcutta High Court, St. John's Church, GPO, Town Hall, the Writers’ Building, and iconic Eden Gardens, one of the world’s largest cricket grounds.

   St. John’s Church is one of the oldest churches in the city and was built during the days when Kolkata used to be the British capital. This church was the Anglican cathedral from 1815 till 1847 when St. Paul’s Cathedral got that designation.

   You will visit the Mullik Ghat Flower Market, where you can experience the vibrant colors and fragrances of countless flowers. This is one of the largest flower markets in Asia and a photographer's delight.

   Enjoy a 30 minute ferry ride on Hooghly River.

It is the largest second-hand book market in the world and largest book market in India. People from Kolkata and different parts of India gathers here for their books. The street is also dotted with countless very small book kiosks which sell new and old books.
