危険を伴う作業もありますが、ご安心ください。
体験のメインイベントは「鍛造」です。 鉄を熱して赤くし、ハンマーで何度も形を整えていきます。 正しいハンマーの使い方を丁寧に教えます。

Through this experience, you will learn about “forging” in depth. You will learn how to use the tools and make a knife using the same traditional process as Japanese kitchen knives. It will be an experience you will never forget.
This experience includes
1. Change into a traditional goldsmith outfit for an authentic experience!
2. Learn how to make a knife using the traditional process of making Japanese kitchen knives
3. Process of "forging" is the key in this experience! No worries even if you're a beginner!
4. Sharpening the knife.
5. Polishing the knife and your masterpiece is completed!
The size of the knife is approximately 13 to 15 centimeters, depends on the person.
At studio NIN, we want as many people as possible to experience forging, so we offer a 2.5 hours experience to make a small size knife.
NOTICE:We have two studios in Kyoto.Our staff will message you prior to your visit to confirm which location you should attend,「Studio NIN Yase」 or「Studio NIN Kendo」.Please check the address, thanks!
