The food culture of Lucca stems from history, hunger, ancient recipes and dreams. Let 2Italia introduce you to the delicious traditional food of Lucca by taking you through narrow alleyways to hidden treasures, off the beaten tourist track, to taste the food the Lucchesi themselves eat.
Your Italian guide will introduce you to locals whose families have been preparing the foods you will sample for generations. There will be 8-10 stops along the way to taste authentic Lucchese specialties.
Tour highlights include typical handmade fresh pasta from Lucca, wonderful hams and salami, rich tiramisu, delicious ice cream, sheep’s milk cheese from the hills surrounding Lucca, exquisite olive oil tasting and, of course, a selection of local wines. In addition, Paola, a born and bred Lucchese, will enthrall you with stories of food, family feuds, local intrigue and ghosts.
集合場所
The meeting point for the tour is the statue in the middle of Piazza Napoleone.
