   During the Essential Madrid Tour, we will ride through Retiro Park, one of the city’s most iconic and beloved green spaces. Once a royal garden, El Retiro is now a beautiful public park where locals and visitors come to relax, walk, cycle and enjoy a quieter side of Madrid.
   
   This is one of the most important parts of the tour, as it offers a perfect contrast to the historic streets and busy avenues of the city centre. Inside the park, we will discover wide tree-lined paths, elegant gardens, monuments, fountains and some of Madrid’s most emblematic corners.
   
   Depending on the pace of the group and the route conditions, we may pass by highlights such as the Retiro Lake, the Crystal Palace, the Monument to Alfonso XII, and other scenic areas within the park.
   
   This section gives participants the chance to experience Madrid from a more relaxed and local perspective, combining history, nature and everyday city life in one of the capital’s most beautiful settings.
