We will start with a tour on the boat (2.5 hours NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE) through the Sumidero Canyon leaving from a jetty on the shores of the town, since it offers better service and is less congested.

During this tour, run all year-round, you will get know the history of the Parachicos, legends, visit traditional houses, and the town's artisans who work to prepare the Fiesta Grande.
The Parachico dance has been designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO since 2009.
We are going to visit: the church of Santo Domingo going up the bell tower, ex-convent and lacquer museum (local traditional craft).
Tour will continue according to your interests and availability of the local families. We will choose between the house of the prioste (spiritual leader), house of the Chunta or workshop of the wood masks carver.
GASTRONOMY: We are going to savor pozole and some snacks or enjoy typical food (not included) from the region at a local restaurant. Some local dishes like pepita con tajajo and pozol have their origins in pre-Hispanic times
