Overzicht
Deze avondexcursie vindt plaats op slechts 18 km buiten Alice Springs bij Simpsons Gap, een natuurwonder dat explodeert met kleur als de zon ondergaat, waardoor het de perfecte plek is om met aquarellen te schilderen! In deze workshop leert u de basis van het aquarel schilderen in een reeks oefeningen die zijn ontworpen om u te helpen ontspannen en plezier te hebben.
Of je nu comfortabel staat, zit of ligt, Anna neemt alle materialen en opstellingen mee om maximale onderdompeling te garanderen - evenals een bushfood-schotel ontworpen door de Inheemse zakelijk Leider en oprichter van Kungkas

In this workshop, led by award-winning tour guide and artist Anna Dakin, you will learn the basics of watercolour painting through a series of dynamic exercises tailored to your experience level, from beginners to expert.
Watch the reds of Simpsons Gap's rock wall deepen as the sun sets, hear an orchestra of birds sing from the river red gum trees & tune in to the peace of this special place: an important spiritual site for the local Arrernte Aboriginal people.
On the short walk into Simpsons Gap, Anna will point out flora, fauna, and important features of the landscape. You will pick a few features to focus on during the watercolour painting workshop, including river red gum trees, rock formations, and, if we’re lucky, Rock Wallabies.
The watercolour painting workshop starts with a basic introduction to the medium, followed by some fast paced drawing & painting exercises, finishing with a freeform longer painting where you can combine things that you’ve learnt to make a masterpiece that you will be proud of.
The class is suitable for beginners and people with painting experience. All painting materials are provided. Pick up and drop offs from Alice Springs are included.
