Overzicht
In onze 4x4 jeeptour bezoekt u samen met een van onze bedoeïenengidsen de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Wadi Rum. Op elke plek is voldoende tijd om rond te dwalen, op de rotsen te klauteren, vragen te stellen aan je gids over het bedoeïenenleven in de woestijn en prachtige foto's te maken. Onze gidsen zijn afkomstig van de Bedoeïenen al Zalahbieh-stam die hier al eeuwen wonen en leren je alles wat je wilt weten over onze cultuur, het leven in de woestijn en onze tradities. Als je wilt, kun je je tour beginnen of eindigen met een kameelrit van 30, 60 of 120 minuten voor 15, 20 of 35 JD ext

Programma

Stop 1
Our half-day tours depart at 9am and 2pm. Please arrive up to 20 minutes before the start time. We will start at the parking lot next to Wadi Rum village. Here we will pick you up and bring you back after the tour or you can opt for a night in our Bedouin camp.

Stop 2 · 10 min
We will check out the place were natural water is collected in the desert and where camels are still drinking from.

Stop 3 · 30 min
Red Sand Dune. We will stop at the red sand dune. There you can climb to the top of the dune to have a beautiful 360degrees view of the desert. Afterwards you can relax with a cup of Bedouin tea.

Stop 4 · 30 min
We will enter the canyon to see inscriptions from different periods in history.

Stop 5 · 30 min
Small Arch. We will stop at the small arch and scramble to the top. Your guide will make a nice photo when you're on top of the arch.

Stop 6 · 40 min
We will climb to the Um Frouth Rock Bridge and make some nice photos at the top

Stop 7 · 1 u
We will drop you off at the start of the canyon, through which you can walk all the way to the end in 30-45 minutes. On the way you have beautiful views of the desert and the narrow parts of the canyon. At the end there might be some time for sandboarding.

Stop 8 · 40 min
If you start the tour in the afternoon we will watch the sunset at Um Sabatah, while enjoying some Bedouin tea around a campfire.

Afterwards we will bring you back to the parking lot next to Wadi Rum Rest House.

A visit to the desert of the Protected Area of Wadi Rum always starts in Wadi Rum Village. We will pick you up from the parking lot in the village, next to Wadi Rum Rest house. You can reach the village by your own (rental) car, taxi or bus.
