   The Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio in Oak Park is where the architect lived and worked from 1889 to 1909. During this time he developed many of the ideas that later revolutionized modern architecture. The building served as both his residence and creative workshop. Today it stands as one of the most important architectural sites in the United States.

   Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District (Oak Park).
   This historic district contains the largest concentration of Wright-designed buildings in the world. The quiet residential streets are lined with beautiful homes that showcase the evolution of his Prairie School style. Many of these houses were experimental designs created early in Wright’s career. The area offers a unique opportunity to see architectural history in one neighborhood.
