As you descend through the gorge, you’ll experience the sound of the wind echoing between the towering rocks, which inspired its name — “Kourtaliotiko,” meaning “clapping sound.”
The walk from the viewpoint to the waterfall takes approximately 12 minutes, followed by a similar uphill walk back, making it a rewarding and immersive experience surrounded by Crete’s untouched natural beauty. -
