Bewonder de spectaculaire schoonheid van het Nationaal park Jasper vanaf de lichtdoorlatende en spannende Glacier Skywalk. De 400 meter lange loopbrug van de Glacier Skywalk strekt zich bijna 30 meter uit in de Sunwapta Valley, en biedt een onbelemmerd uitzicht op de bergtoppen en door gletsjers gevormde valleien van Alberta. Op het observatieplatform aan het einde van de loopbrug staat u bijna 305 meter boven grond van de vallei, op een glazen bodem voor een extra spannende ervaring.

Stop 1
Step out on a cliff-edge walkway where giant glaciers perch above you and the spectacular Sunwapta Valley spreads out below. The Columbia Icefield Skywalk experience features waterfalls, wildlife, fossils and more on an exciting 1-kilometre walkway that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918-foot (280 m) drop. The walk is presented in an interpretive storytelling format that will connect you to the natural world in a deep and meaningful way.
You must park at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Center and take the bus to the Skywalk.
