   Enter the Roaring 20's style winery for a look, feel, and taste of times gone by. Enjoy the view reminiscent of old-world charm.

2. Stop 2 · 30 min

   Frind Estate Winery is the first beach winery in North America and is situated on the historic Bennett Property in West Kelowna, British Columbia. The property was purchased in 2017 after Markus Frind sold his company Plenty of Fish and wanted to do something more hands-on. With over 500 years of family farming history, Markus wanted to combine his two passions; technology and agriculture. Today Frind Estate Winery is one of the most advanced wineries in the world, using cutting-edge technology to create truly distinctive wines. Taste wine whilst savoring the lake view today!

3. Stop 3 · 30 min

   The Okanagan/Similkameen is this kind of place. Here winemakers strive to express what’s distinctive about their region, creating wines that are uniquely British Columbian. Our appellations are at the northernmost limit of wine growing, claiming the territory of last frontier. Here, grape quality is ultimately enhanced by the vines’ struggle to yield ripe fruit in a shorter growing season. To some, it might seem miraculous that grapes can thrive here, but thanks to the incredible lakes, hills, and soils, they do, and they do very special things.

4. Stop 4 · 40 min

   The 160 acres of incredible soil we call home sits below the extinct volcano of Mount Boucherie.
   Its deposits work like a time release capsule. Combined with warm summers and mild winters, our volcanic rocks have decomposed and recombined into soluble molecules that are easily separated into their elements and accessible to plants – including vineyards. The result is some of the richest agricultural land on the planet.

5. Stop 5 · 30 min

   Black Swift Vineyards and Screaming Frenzy came about when we were spit-balling winery concepts at our production facility in Peachland in 2014. We wanted something that celebrated our vineyards and amazing growers, but also wanted something that in an industry full of snobbery, didn’t take itself too seriously.
   
   We jokingly started to throw around bird names, as the hatch is located right beside Quails Gate, we had a long list of Native Okanagan birds in front of us, looking for something to jump off the page. Black Swift made the shortlist, and after a little research, it became clear to us this was the name! There were two aspects in particular that we loved. There was the fact that the Black Swift lays only one egg at a time which was a perfect analog to our single-vineyard focused releases, and also that a group of Black Swift birds is known as a “Screaming Frenzy” what a fantastic name for anything!

6. Stop 6 · 30 min

   Welcome to the hatch where we are open 11 - to 6 each and every wonderful day. Come keep us company and we'll keep you company if you know what I mean.

7. Stop 7 · 30 min

   Great wine starts in the vineyard. Through caring first for the land, and careful varietal selection, we are able to sustainably grow our grapes to produce wines that require minimal intervention in the winery. The result - each unique vintage we create wines that showcase this land of opportunity and the true terroir of the Okanagan Valley.

8. Stop 8 · 30 min

   Come and visit our family-owned and operated permaculture winery. Taste award-winning wines in our straw bale, solar-powered tasting room. Shop our local artisan gift shop. Visit the goats on the roof as well as our sheep, chickens & other farm animals. Eat at the local & artisan pizzeria food truck. See how our passion for sustainability is crafted into everything we do.

9. Stop 9 · 30 min

   Rollingdale Winery is a small farm gate winery located in Lakeview Heights, in West Kelowna. We are 100% family-owned and operated. Our focus is on producing fine wines using only premium grapes made from the most conscientiously cultivated vines we can find.

10. Stop 10 · 45 min

    Visit the organic winery with stunning views. enjoy the animal rescue farm and meet the mayor of chickenville!

11. Stop 11 · 45 min

    A small Italian family owned winery greets you with a selection of their finest wines. Try the Gelato as well!

12. Stop 12 · 30 min

    Visit the organic winery with very affordable Okanagan wines.
