Overzicht
Gelegen in de gemeente Povoação, in het zuidoostelijke deel van het eiland São Miguel, herbergt de parochie Faial da Terra een van de meest charmante dorpen van de Azoren. Dit gebied is omgeven door de natuur en biedt een omgeving van vrede en rust. Tijdens deze wandeling wandelen we door boomgaarden en houten bruggen, richting de Salto do Prego waterval, waar u kunt genieten van de schoonheid van de plaats. Op de terugweg bezoeken we het oude dorp Sanguinho, een historische nederzetting die ons terug in de tijd brengt. In de middag verkennen we Furnas, een plek vol vulkanische verschijnselen

The tour starts with a hike in Faial da Terra, following a stream through the forest to the Salto do Prego waterfall, where you can swim or relax. On the return, we pass through Sanguinho, an abandoned village with panoramic views.
After a picnic lunch, we visit Furnas to explore its fumarolic fields and volcanic activity. The day ends with a choice of relaxation at either Terra Nostra Park or Poça da Dona Beija thermal pools.
