Vaar over het water van het Gatunmeer, een essentieel onderdeel van het Panamakanaal, terwijl enorme schepen in de verte voorbijvaren en het regenwoud zich een weg baant tussen de eilanden die na de aanleg van het meer zijn ontstaan.
Op Monkey Island gaan we op zoek naar drie soorten primaten: witgezichtkapucijnapen, Geoffroy-tamarins en brulapen, waarvan de krachtige roepen vaak door het bos te horen zijn. Tijdens de tour kunnen we ook tropische vogels, leguanen, krokodillen en andere dieren in hun natuurlijke leefomgeving tegenkomen.
