Programma

1. Stop 1 · 5 min

   We offer three convenient meeting points with easy access in central Seoul. These are Myeongdong Subway Station Exit 9 (in front of Sky Park Hotel Ⅲ), Seoul City Hall Subway Station Exit 6 (located beside the Plaza Hotel), and Hongdae Subway Station Exit 3 (between AK Plaza and Shake Shack). Please arrive around 10-15 minutes before your meeting time to avoid any delays.

2. Stop 2 · 30 min

   Dive into the Demilitarized Zone in South Korea on this DMZ Tour from Seoul. Explore one of the world’s most heavily fortified borders that has divided North and South Korea since the 1953 armistice. 3. Stop 3 · 40 min

   Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park marks the symbolic entrance to the DMZ, with peace monuments, unification sculptures, and open lawns reflecting hopes for Korean reconciliation. Visitors walk among memorials and enjoy scenic river views. It opened in 2005 following the World Peace Festival to promote peace and unity.

4. Stop 4 · 30 min

   The Bridge of Freedom is the historic railway bridge over the Imjin River where 12,773 Korean War POWs returned home in 1953 after the armistice. View the preserved section with bullet-scarred remnants and attached messages of hope. It stands as a powerful symbol of liberation and enduring division.

5. Stop 5 · 10 min

   The Unification Bridge crosses the Imjin River, symbolizing hopes for reconnection between North and South Korea. Tour participants cross it by bus after a military checkpoint to reach deeper restricted-access sites within the DMZ. It is nicknamed "Cow Bridge" because Hyundai founder Chung Ju-yung drove 1001 cows across it to North Korea in 1998 as a gesture of goodwill and business outreach.

6. Stop 6 · 1 u

   One of the main highlights of the tour is The Third Tunnel of Aggression, also known as The Third Infiltration Tunnel, and is a North Korean-dug infiltration tunnel discovered in 1978, capable of moving up to 30,000 troops per hour toward Seoul. Descend to walk inside (wearing hard hats) and view its scale, or simply look around outside if you are claustrophobic or cannot handle steep inclines. It remains one of four known invasion tunnels under the border.

7. Stop 7 · 1 u

   Dora Observatory is the closest viewpoint to North Korea in the DMZ, offering binoculars to spot Kaesong city, propaganda signs, and guard posts. Visitors gaze northward from the 500-seat facility. It provides the clearest civilian glimpse into North Korean territory from South Korea.

8. Stop 8 · 20 min

   Tongilchon (Unification Village) is a peaceful farming community just outside the DMZ, home to around 480 residents growing high-quality produce like soybeans, rice and ginseng. Explore the village and shop for local specialties. Residents, often from divided families, receive special benefits for living in this frontline area.

9. Stop 9 · 30 min

   This exclusive JSA Experience through the JSA Museum is available only to travelers on your tour. Through immersive visual and audio exhibits, visitors can explore the history of the Korean War and gain a realistic glimpse of the Joint Security Area (JSA). The museum also features a JSA-style space that recreates a currently closed area to the public, offering a unique and engaging DMZ experience you cannot get on other DMZ tours.

11. Stop 11 · 1 u

    (Optional included in "JSA Museum & DMZ Tour + Bridge" and "Best DMZ Package (All Options)" add-on option) Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge AKA the Red Suspension Bridge is a thrilling towerless suspension footbridge swaying 150 meters across a valley near the DMZ. Walk its length for stunning mountain and nature views. It is South Korea's longest bridge of its type, harmoniously blending with the surrounding landscape. Located in the Civilian Control Line area, it offers a rare peaceful experience just steps from the tense border zone. The site commemorates fierce Korean War battles, including the heroic but tragic stand of the Gloucestershire Regiment's 1st Battalion against overwhelming Chinese forces in 1951.

12. Stop 12

    Drop-off location 1: Hop off at Hongdae Station for Seoul’s liveliest youth district, buzzing with street art, live busking, indie cafes, and quirky boutiques. Built around Hongik University, it’s the epicenter of K-indie music, graffiti culture, and late-night street eats like hotteok and spicy rice cakes.

13. Stop 13

    Drop-off location 2: Get off at City Hall Station to discover the heart of old and new Seoul, featuring the striking modern City Hall complex and serene Deoksugung Palace grounds. Pose at the famous “I SEOUL U” sign, watch free outdoor concerts, or unwind in the open plaza with its dancing fountains.

14. Stop 14

    Drop-off location 3: Alight at Myeongdong Station for Seoul's premier shopping and food paradise, packed with cosmetics stores, fashion outlets, and endless street-food stalls. See the historic Myeongdong Cathedral, enjoy K-beauty sampling, and savor classics like cheesy corn dogs, grilled skewers, and freshly made hotteok.
