Programma

1. Dag 1: ...-Tashkent (Sightseeing tour duration: 6-7 hours) · 7 u

   Arrive in Tashkent. GLOBAL CONNECT driver will meet you at the Tashkent International Airport and transfer you to the hotel (Check in from 14:00). Start sightseeing from the Old City part of Tashkent. Visit Khast Imam - a cultic architectural complex and the religious center of Tashkent where the world famous Uthman Quran has been preserved. Khast Imam complex consists of Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Muyi Muborak Madrasah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, New Khazrati Imam Mosque and the Muftiate building. Drive to Chorsu Bazaar. After exploring the bazaar visit the State Museum of Applied Art to see priceless samples of applied art created by golden hands of masters from the first half of XIX century up to the present time. Have a short Tashkent metro ride from "Kosmonavtlar" station to "Mustakallik Maydoni" station. Visit Independence Square, Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, Amir Temur Square and Museum, "Broadway" street where some street artists and painters display their original artworks (there are many shopping centers, fashion shops, boutiques, restaurants, and cafes are located on and around the Broadway) and Monument of Courage. Drop off at the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

2. Dag 2: Tashkent-Bukhara (Sightseeing tour duration: 6-7 hours) · 7 u

   06:30 Transfer to the train station.
   07:30 Transfer to Bukhara by high-speed train "Afrosiyob".
   11:17 Arrive in Bukhara. Leave your luggage in the hotel and start your walking sightseeing tour in Bukhara. Visit Lyabi-Khauz Complex, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, Trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Chashma-Ayub and Ismail Samani mausoleums. GLOBAL CONNECT will arrange a dinner at Nodir Devonbegi Madrasah Restaurant where you can enjoy Traditional Dance Show. Overnight at the hotel.

3. Dag 3: Bukhara (Sightseeing tour duration: 4-5 hours) · 5 u

   10:00 Countryside sightseeing. Visit summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir - Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, Bakhouddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. Transfer back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

4. Dag 4: Bukhara-Gijduvan-Nurata-Yurt Camp · 4 u

   09:00 Drive to Gijduvan. Visit the ceramics workshop in Gijduvan. Drive to Nurata.
   13:00 Arrive in Nurata. After lunch visit the complex Chashma Spring. Go up to the hills to visit the remains of the fortress of Alexander the Great. Visit the Kariz - the construction of Kariz is a unique underground water pipeline system near Nurata which is also connected with the name of the Alexander the Great.
   16:00 Drive to Yurt Camp. Overnight in the Yurt Camp.

5. Dag 5: Yurt Camp-Lake Aydar-Sentyab village · 2 u

   Breakfast in the Yurt Camp.
   09:00 Drive to Lake Aydar. Stop and watching along the lakeshore. Drive to Sentyab village.
   13:00 Arrive in Sentyab village. Lunch with a local family. Enjoy your free time for hiking. Dinner with the host. Spend a night in a traditional house with a host family to experience the charm of local life.

6. Dag 6: Sentyab village-Samarkand

   08:00 Drive to Samarkand.

8. Dag 8: Samarkand-Shakhrisabz-Tashkent (Sightseeing tour duration: 4-5 hours) · 5 u

   Breakfast at the hotel.
   09:00 Transfer to Shakhrisabz (85 km). Drive through the Aman-Kutan Gorge and Takhta-Karacha Mountain Pass. On the way stop to take a view at Teshiktosh (Stone with hole). The film "Apachen" (1973) was shot on this location - an area that looks incredibly like the American Southwest. Short stop at the top of the mountain pass. There is a tiny market where some local dried fruits can be bought.
   11:00 Arrive in Shakhrisabz. Visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Memorial Complex, remains of Ak Saray Palace, Kok Gumbaz Mosque.
   15:00 Drive back to Samarkand directly to the train station.
   17:25 Transfer to Tashkent by high-speed train "Afrosiyob".
