We will visit the Black Christ of Portobelo, in the Church of San Felipe. The Black Christ is a figure full of devotion and mystery, it is a wooden statue that is believed to represent Jesus Christ with black skin.

Los españoles construyeron varios fuertes alrededor de Portobelo para defenderla. Estos fuertes, ahora en ruinas, se convirtieron en Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO en 1980.

    Blue Veins:
Blue Veins is a magical spot located within the Portobelo National Park.

It is called “Blue Veins” and it imagines rivers of an intense blue color that meander through a lush, green landscape. From the sky, with photos taken by drones, it really looks as if these blue veins are running through the earth.

After marveling at Blue Veins, we continue the journey sailing towards Playa Blanca. This beach is a true tropical paradise.
