   This place is an important and nice cross in the old city center. We will admire the basilic Saint Didier that dates from the 14th, with the six strong bells and the oldest coffee of Avignon., the Grand Café Baretta

   A small and charming place. I will show you the chapel of the White Penitents : a brotherood really influent in Avignon during the Middle Ages.

But Before reaching the bridge, we will cross the place where the Jewish community lived. I will explain you what was the situation for the Jews during the period of the popes.
