   Explore one of Dallas’ most distinctive neighborhoods, known for its legendary music, colorful street art and creative culture. Hear how Deep Ellum evolved and discover the people, places and stories that shaped the neighborhood you see today.

2. Parada 2 · 10 min

   Walk through Blues Alley, where Deep Ellum’s music history comes to life through colorful murals and street art. See works honoring local greats such as Bessie Smith, Erykah Badu, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan and Blind Lemon Jefferson, and hear about the blues and jazz artists who performed here and the venues that gave them a stage. Along the way, discover contemporary murals and street art that continue Deep Ellum’s tradition of creative expression.
