1. Make your first experience on skis or a snowboard smooth and stress-free with Cardrona’s First Timer Package!
   
   With beginner-friendly facilities such as the covered learner conveyor, an easy-access base-area beginners’ zone, gentle practice runs, a dedicated kids’ conveyor, and Cardrona’s renowned snow sports school, there’s no better place to start learning on snow.
   
   This package is a fun and inclusive way to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time. It includes a beginners’ area lift pass, equipment hire, a full day of lessons by a knowledgeable instructor and clothing and accessories to keep you warm and protected.
   
   To make your first day even more memorable, the package includes a one-way ride on McDougall’s Chondola in the afternoon, giving you the chance to reach the top of the mountain on day one. Capture that milestone photo, then either enjoy an easy green run back to the base or relax and ride the gondola down.

• It is strongly recommended that you arrive at 9:00am to allow time for fitting rentals prior to Snow School check-in at 10:20am - better yet, get fitted the day before at our Wanaka or Queenstown off mountain locations
• Once you have all your gear, First Timer Lessons meet on snow from 10:20am with lessons starting at 10:30am
• The tour operates in all weather conditions, while snow jacket and pants are included, please still dress appropriately.
• Cardrona is an alpine ski resort just outside Queenstown and is reached by a 14-kilometer mountain road, self-drivers must carry chains or park at Pines carpark and catch our free mountain shuttle
