Escape the crowds on a three-hour small-group boat adventure into South Fiord, Lake Te Anau—one of Fiordland’s spectacular freshwater fiords and twice the length of Milford Sound.
Within 10 minutes of departing Te Anau, enter Fiordland National Park and travel deep into remote wilderness where other tour boats do not go. Cruise beneath towering mountains, past ancient beech forest, secluded beaches and waterfalls before reaching Gorge Falls at the head of South Fiord.
Step ashore for a short walk along a natural bush track—no boardwalks—to experience this remote waterfall up close.

We travel down one of the biggest Fiords in Fiordland National Park (twice as long as Milford). Explore waterfalls, jump off the vessel to explore hidden waterfalls and sometimes even beaches. We will get to Gorge Falls which is the most remote place in Fiordland you can get to via boat!
